  • Transferred standing wave accelerator tuning techniques from AS&E to Accuray.
  • Introduced a real-time beam energy diagnostic that permitted fast and accurate tuning.
  • Introduced a spot size diagnostic with radiachromic film.
  • Used improved fitting functions for electron energy diagnostics.
  • Predicted product throughput and dose distribution for industrial & food irradiation.
  • Oversaw special diagnostic components & completed the installation for the Saclay accelerator.
  • Developed a novel fitting function for tuning the 130 kV electron beam for the landmine project.

  • Measured neutron production of Siemens cancer treatment accelerators.
